From March to November, Catajo Castle will be open to the public four afternoons a week, on Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and on all holidays.

Following the Prime Minister decree concerning the coronavirus emergency dated 8/03/2020, Catajo Castle is temporarily closed to visits.

In case of continuous bad weather, the parking lot of the Castle could be unusable. In this case, visitors will find a person in charge on site who will provide them with information on the nearest parking available.

The visit is possibile only with a guided tour. 
On Sundays and Holidays guided tours are offered in Italian only. 
Non-Italian speakers will be provided with reading material in English, German, French or Russian. 

The ticket includes access to the historic garden
and guided tour of the Noble Floor of the Castle
starting at different times depending on the season and turnout,
that will be communicated at the time of purchase

How to find us

Catajo Castle is located in Battaglia Terme, a few minutes away from the thermal centres of Abano and Montegrotto and is easily and quickly reachable from Padova and Venice.

Just before reaching Battaglia Terme, arriving from Padova, you can admire the castle on your right, surrounded by the winding landscape of the Euganean Hills.
In the immediate vicinity there are hotels with spa, swimming pools and golf clubs.

How to get here


The castle is on the Adriatica state highway 16, 1 km from the “Terme Euganee” motorway exit on the A13 Padova - Bologna.


From "Battaglia Terme" station, 15 min by foot along the "Passeggiata degli Obizzi". From "Terme Euganee" station, 5 minutes by taxi.


The castle faces the cycle path E2, which is 63 km long and allows cyclists to reach all of the most important locations in the area.
